Sugarcane juice and molasses, by-products from sugar production process, are utilized as raw materials for producing not only fuel grade ethanol with a purity level of 99.5% but also hydrous grade ethanol with a purity level of 95%. This ethanol is then blended with gasoline to produce gasohol for vehicles, replacing import of fossil fuels.

Ethanol plants under the Mitr Phol Group employ production systems and technologies adhering to international standards. The focus is not solely on ethanol quality but also on the effective management of by-products, such as vinasse. Vinasse is treated to ensure its suitability for further applications, including use as a soil improvement material in sugarcane plantation or as a raw material for producing biogas and bio methane.

The ethanol business has evolved to support various industrial applications, such as medical use, pharmaceutical industry, food industry, and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) industry.
